Velocity Scout Chassis with Powertrain
What is the one thing that is lacking with any International Scout restoration project, until now? A quality chassis and suspension package. Our Velocity VS2 Chassis was designed to serve as the perfect foundation for any Scout restoration project.
The Velocity VS2 chassis starts with CNC laser-cut premium boxed steel frame with braced rails, 4-link front and rear suspension, custom-valved shocks, and Afco coilovers. A new Dana 44 front axle with Warn locking hubs and a Dana 60 rear axle with Trac-Loc, provide proven 4-wheel traction. The front and rear Wilwood disc brakes bring your Scout to a stop with ease. Additional Velocity features include a custom fuel tank, engineered steering gear box for modern functionality, and stainless-steel brake and fuel lines to finish out our rolling VS2 chassis.
Take your build to the next level with a VS3 Chassis package, featuring our VS2 Chassis with powertrain. The VS3 has been professionally engineered and custom crafted to meet every challenge your Scout will face, with a powertrain that can tackle anything you put in front of it. We’ve equipped our VS2 rolling chassis with a 525-hp LS3 V8 and 4L60E auto transmission, plus a two-speed Atlas II transfer case to deliver all that power to the axles. It’s fitted with Tom Woods driveshafts, and a custom-designed aluminum oil pan ensures perfect clearance. From the Ididit steering column, Hydroboost braking system, transmission cooler, and Wilwood master cylinder, your Scout chassis and powertrain needs have been completely addressed in one Velocity package.
