From our humble beginnings as a small restoration shop, Velocity has transformed the restomod landscape and continues to redefine what it means to own a classic vehicle. Today, each Velocity build combines the nostalgia and authenticity of a classic with the everyday comfort and reliability of a modern vehicle, and, more importantly, they feature iconic American V-8 muscle under the hood courtesy of either the Ford Coyote or GM LT1 engine.
Velocity established itself with restorations of the first-generation Ford Bronco, but moving into a state-of-the-art 135,000-square-foot facility opened up full-scale manufacturing capabilities of additional classic nameplates such as the International Scout II, Chevrolet K5 Blazer, Ford F-100 and F-250, and the Ford Mustang. Bottom line, Velocity restomods aren’t restored, they are reborn and reimagined, and no matter which one you choose, each evokes emotion and exudes style.
The Problem With The Norm
Nothing beats the feeling of driving a classic car, but even fully restored classics suffer from problems whether it’s sourcing quality parts or finding a shop that knows how to repair/maintain the vehicle. And don’t forget about the idiosyncrasies of a classic such as having to pump the gas pedal to get the engine started or dealing with spongy brakes and loose steering.
Velocity restomods eliminate all of these concerns starting with a custom chassis that is upgraded with the latest suspension, braking, and steering components allowing you to drive a classic that rides and handles like a modern vehicle. Best of all, the use of modern engines, transmissions and electronics means that Velocity these builds can be worked on by any shop.
