Most of the time, we can appreciate classic vehicles that feature all original parts. The problem is, as time goes by, they are increasingly hard to come by. Luckily we also quite like it when a classic car or SUV gets a full-blown overhaul. Because then you get the beautiful good looks, but also all the trappings of modern technology. And that’s what makes this fully-restored 1976 Ford Bronco so wonderful: it falls into that latter category.
While a purist might argue that completely gutting a classic vehicle is reprehensible, we’d be apt to present this vehicle as evidence to the contrary. Not only is this vehicle now far more bespoke and carefully pored over than its original build, but it also has some fun new additions. One such addition is a brand-new 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine, which is capable of 412 horsepower and 390 foot-pounds of torque. It’s also fitted with custom shocks that are valved specifically to the weight of the SUV, the ride height, and presumably at the time of purchase, the consumer’s intended use. And all those modern additions don’t at all retract from the classic styling. The 14 person team at Velocity Restorations is offering this vehicle for sale at $179,900.
