Description

The classic Chevy K5 Blazer was an innovator when it came to rugged, family-sized vehicles, and now Velocity takes the Blazer’s legacy to new heights. Reimagined from the ground up, the Velocity Signature Series 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer retains the iconic vintage styling, but the rest of this truck has been fully modernized, offering even more capability and luxury.

For starters, the Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer restomod rides on a Velocity Exclusive frame built by Roadster Shop that upgrades the truck to coilover suspension, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and Dana axles. Under the hood, this K5 Blazer features a GM Gen V 6.2L LT1 V8, and this engine pairs to a modern 10-speed automatic transmission and a durable Atlas 2-speed transfer case.

All of these mechanical upgrades were made without sacrificing the Blazer’s unique design, and this truck looks great with its Custom Blue BASF Glasurit paint job and the 18” bullet-hole wheels wrapped in 35” off-road tires. The beautiful blue paint job is accented with a Walnut interior and a classic stitch pattern, and the Signature Series package adds standard conveniences like the Vintage Air A/C system, power windows, Dakota Digital gauge cluster, lockable center console, double-DIN stereo with Apple CarPlay, and a black family-style roll cage.
