At Velocity, we don’t just restore classics—we re-engineer them to tell a story. And few stories capture that mission better than the “K32” project: a matching pair of a 1971 Chevy K10 and a 1970 Chevy K5 Blazer, brought to life with one client’s singular vision.
The Velocity K32 twins: matching Heritage Series Chevy Trucks in Bitchin' Blue!It started with a bold idea: two legendary Chevys, rebuilt in perfect harmony, designed to stand as a matched set. The foundation was as iconic as it gets—our Re-Engineered Classic Chevy K10 and Chevy K5 Blazer decked out in the Velocity Heritage Series configuration.
But for this client, “timeless” wasn’t enough. He wanted more. More precision. More luxury. More personal meaning. That’s where Velocity came in.
Bitchin' Blue Duo
This client’s vision began with a Velocity Heritage Series 1971 Chevy K10 and a Velocity Heritage Series 1970 Chevy K5 Blazer, and to create a matching set, the customer asked for a two-tone BASF paint job consisting of "Bitchin' Blue" over Frost White. But the twinning doesn't stop with the paint job. Both trucks were given 18" Scottsdale wheels from US Mags wrapped in 35" BFG KM3 mud tires, and the interiors reveal matching distressed leather upholstery. The custom-machined billet accessories and wood interior/exterior trim round out the similarities, and the K10 also received Black Walnut bed wood inserts.
From the first brushstroke of paint to the final bolt tightened, the two builds were designed to mirror one another—identical paint combinations and high-luxury interiors creating a unified aesthetic that bridges the worlds of utility and leisure.
Classic Chevy trucks like the K10 and K5 Blazer will always command admiration. But when they’re reborn with a personal narrative woven into their DNA, they transcend their era. They become rolling legacies.
Your Vision, Our Craft
This matching set of classic Chevy trucks is proof that with the right team, your dream build can become reality. From one truck to an entire collection, our process ensures every project is as unique as its owner. Because in the end, these aren’t just restorations. They’re personal statements, designed to be driven, admired, and remembered.
