The Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer has a 5-point roll cage that has been designed and built in-house. This family-friendly roll cage includes three-point seat belts for rear passengers, enhancing both occupant protection and the K5 Blazer’s rugged style. Each roll cage is fitted with a safari-style soft top, which is also designed and crafted in-house.

The Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer offers a commanding presence on the road, but standard power-retractable side steps make it easy for anyone to climb into the cab. These side steps automatically lower when the door is opened and retract seamlessly once the door is closed, adding convenience without affecting the Classic K5 Blazer’s rugged style or capabilities.

Its design allows for a more compact arrangement of components like the alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor, simplifying both service and maintenance tasks. Additionally, this system minimizes visual clutter under the hood, enhancing the clean look under the hood of your classic Chevy C10 restomod.

With its exclusive Roadster Shop chassis, the Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer restomod maximizes on-road comfort and off-road performance. This setup features adjustable Fox coilovers at all four corners, a four-link setup at the rear, and sway bars for both axles. This big truck will ride smoothly and confidently wherever your adventures take you.

The Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer is equipped with robust Dana six-lug axles both front and rear. The front features a Dana 44 axle with Warn locking hubs, while the rear is fitted with a Dana 60 with Trac Loc. To ensure maximum durability, this truck is further enhanced with 4.30 Yukon chromoly axles and two-inch driveshafts. These axles and internals are always brand-new; never rebuilt.

The Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer upgrades from the outdated factory brake system to a high-performance Wilwood setup. The Wilwood big brake kit features six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear, providing superior stopping power. A Wilwood master cylinder and custom brake lines complete this advanced braking system.

To ensure the modern engine has proper fuel pressure, each Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer restomod is equipped with the Velocity Exclusive Aluminum Fuel Tank. This 15-gallon tank features a GM-style 58 psi fuel pump and a cylinder-style fuel level sender for enhanced accuracy. Finished with a satin black powder-coat and fitted with stainless steel lines, the tank combines long-lasting durability with a sleek custom look.

The interior billet appearance package is standard on all Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer Heritage Series builds, further enhancing the appearance and functionality of this truck. This upgrade includes polished billet door handles, window crank handles, and dash knobs for a refined, upscale, and cohesive style. All billet components are custom-machined in-house by Velocity.

Designed and produced in-house, the center console design gives the Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer a custom look and feel. This console flows seamlessly into the dash with housings for the power window switches, twin sticks for the transfer case, and a wireless smartphone charger.  The full-length design also allows for rear HVAC vents USB charging ports.

Thanks to a backup camera, backing up the Velocity Chevy K5 Blazer is easier and safer. This feature enhances visibility for parking and maneuvering. The camera is built into the rear bumper, and the backup view is displayed either on the rearview mirror or stereo head unit.
