As you’ve come to expect from a Velocity build, this truck stays true to the authentic design of the 1973-1979 F-250, including the beltline trim, chrome bumpers, and split grille with the FORD lettering spelled out between the turn signals. We’ve upped this truck’s styling, starting with the two-tone paint job featuring a Blue BASF Glasurit hue complemented by Ford’s classic Wimbledon White. This latter color is also applied to the 18” steel wheels wrapped in beefy 33” BFGoodrich KO3 tires. Highlighting its utility and style, the cargo bed features exquisite Black Walnut wood, adding a touch of luxury to its functional space.
Inside, Velocity has modernized the vintage F-250, delivering the look and feel of an old-school truck with all of the new-school comforts and conveniences modern drivers expect. The bench seat is wrapped in blue Double Diamond upholstery, which also adorns the dash pad and door panels, while plush carpeting and an upholstered headliner round out the fine details of this cabin. And while it might look vintage inside this ‘77 F-250, Velocity has tastefully integrated modern elements into the cabin, such as the exclusive Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, and the RetroSound stereo system equipped with Focal premium speakers for an immersive audio experience.
Under the hood, this truck is just as impressive, sporting a Gen III 5.0L Coyote V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, offering an exhilarating blend of power and smoothness. The rigidity and ride quality are exceptional thanks to the Velocity Exclusive frame built by Roadster Shop that benefits from Fox coilover shocks and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Meanwhile, the F-250’s off-road capability is maintained with an Atlas two-speed transfer case and brand-new Dana axles (Dana 44 up front and Dana 60 at the rear).
