This Velocity 1979 International Scout II debuted at the 2024 SEMA Show where it impressed attendees with its blend of Scout rarity and eye-catching customization. Built as a high-end restomod, this gorgeous vintage IH Scout is ready to impress on any terrain, whether it’s conquering rugged trails or looking good pulling up to the valet.

The stunning BASF Glasurit Carolina Blue paint job, on the body and color-matched removable hardtop, is complemented by Velocity’s Blackout Package that includes the TR Beadlock wheels, J.W. Speaker LED headlights, matte black body decals, and the custom-fabricated bumpers feature recessed Rigid LED off-road lights and a front-mounted Warn winch. The 3.5-inch lift and 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires finsih off this Scout’s bold and aggressive look.

Inside, the cabin balances luxury with rugged aesthetics. Brown Italian leather-wrapped Procar sport bucket seats, a leather-trimmed hardtop, and custom billet accents offer a high-end feel, while Dakota Digital gauges, an Alpine digital head unit, Focal speakers, Vintage Air HVAC system, and a backup camera add comfort and sophistication.

Underneath, the Scout rides on a Velocity Exclusive frame by Roadster Shop, replacing the original leaf springs with a four-link suspension and AFCO Racing coilovers for a smoother, more modern driving experience. Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes improve stopping power, while 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires and a 3.5-inch lift enhance off-road capability. The powder-coated bumpers house a hidden Warn winch, Rigid off-road lights, and rear-mounted cube lights, ensuring it’s trail ready. The state-of-the-art chassis is backed up with an advanced drivetrain that consists of a GM Performance 6.2L LS3 V8 engine (producing 525 horsepower), 4L70-E four-speed automatic transmission, and an Atlas two-speed transfer case.
