The classic Ford F-Series has long been a staple in American automotive culture, and its Dentside era (1973-79) played a pivotal role in making it the best-selling truck in America—a title it still holds today. Now, Velocity Restorations has entered the Dentside scene with its first restomod from this era, the Velocity Signature Series 1975 Ford F-250—beautifully reimagined to blend classic styling perfectly with modern performance.
With this new Dentside Ford truck, Velocity now offers 10 distinct restomod offerings, cementing the company as the largest and most experienced in the classic car restoration industry. This was a commissioned build incorporating obvious customization choices that we’ll touch on below, but you can contact a Velocity sales expert for more info on creating your own Dentside restomod.

If you’re a fan of the classic Ford F-250 Bumpside restomods that Velocity has been creating since 2023, you’re going to love this new Dentside truck. The basic spec sheet reads about the same with the modern 5.0L Coyote V8 under the hood mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
To complement this upgraded powertrain, the truck rides on a Velocity Exclusive frame built by Roadster Shop, which features power steering, coilover suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. These upgrades make it possible to enjoy the classic Dentside styling without the drawbacks of outdated suspension and braking systems. Simply put, a ‘70s truck riding on 33-inch tires has no business riding this smooth!
The similarities with Velocity’s F-Series trucks end with the bits you can’t see. Ford’s sixth-generation truck received an all-new body for the 1973 model year with bolder styling than ever before, and as its nickname suggests, this body is easily distinguishable by the concave “dent” that runs the full length of the beltline. Keen eyes will notice that while the truck is a 1975 model, this restomod has been personalized for our customer with the front end of a 1978-79, noticeable by the egg-crate grille and square headlights. The dark Custom Red BASF Glasurit paint job adds to the understated styling of this bespoke build.
There’s nothing subtle about this truck’s cabin, though! Velocity truly showcases its craftsmanship inside this 1975 F-250 restomod with an execution that shows unparalleled precision and attention to detail. While the original Dentside cabins were known for their utilitarian design, Velocity has reimagined the space with a balance of luxury and functionality. The bench seat is upholstered in hand-stitched custom leather, accented with perforated inserts and contrasting red stitching.
If you’re dreaming of your own classic Ford truck restomod, Velocity Restorations stands as the best in the business. For more details on this build and other Velocity Restorations projects, hit the button below or CONTACT US for immediate info.
