Car enthusiasts love to flaunt their diehard passion even when they can’t be behind the wheel, and Ford just licensed the ultimate accessory to show off, especially for classic Ford Mustang and classic Ford Bronco lovers. Ford has teamed up with the leading bicycle specialists at N+ to create eBikes that celebrate the history of the Mustang and Bronco. Much like a restomod, these eBikes inject modern conveniences and performance into an old-school form of transportation; in this case, a bicycle!

At a car show or around the neighborhood, these classic-inspired eBikes bring restomod fun to car lovers of almost all ages. Just like a classic car restomod,  Ford’s eBikes represent a significant price increase over a typical electric bicycle, but they will undoubtedly be a massive hit among diehard fans of the vintage Mustang and Bronco.

Both eBikes feature a 750-watt hub-mounted motor that delivers 63 lb/ft (85 Nm) of torque, propelling riders to a maximum speed of 28 mph. The power assist range is an impressive 60 miles, and the battery charge time is 3.5 hours. These eBikes can be purchased online or at participating Ford dealerships, and they take 90 days to build—for comparison, build time for a Velocity Ford Bronco is 14 weeks… or 98 days!

Matching the Mustang’s persona, the Mustang eBike has a sleek, sporty design, and it even incorporates one element of classic and current production Mustangs: sequential LED taillights! Fitting of a Mustang-branded vehicle, these bikes are equipped with performance features such as Pirelli Angel semi-slick tires and four-piston brake calipers for maximum performance. Riders can fine-tune their experience with four drive modes (Eco, Trail, Sport, and Track), and track their performance with a full-color telemetry display.

The Ford Mustang eBike starts at $4,000 in the standard Carbonized Gray Metallic paint color. For an extra $390, buyers can select from 10 optional colors, including the iconic Grabber Blue.

Showing its off-road prowess, the Bronco eBike has more of a dirtbike design with an integrated seat, dual suspension, and knobby Pirelli Scorpion Enduro tires. This mountain bike is intended for riders between 5’4” and 6’5” and provides four drive modes (Eco, Trail, Sport, and Baja). The Ford Bronco eBike starts at $4,500 in the standard Area 51 hue. For an extra $390, buyers can select from 10 optional colors, including the iconic Eruption Green.
